Loughborough Road Guided Walk

Welcome to the West Bridgford & District Local History Society’s audio guided walk down Loughborough Road. Traffic can be busy at times, so please take care – especially when crossing the road, and if you are using headphones.

At each stop, you can play the commentary by clicking on the arrow at the left of the audio player strip. A chime tells you when the commentary has come to an end.  At some of the stops, there are pictures to illustrate the commentary, such as the one below. At the bottom of the page are the directions to take you to the next stop.

We start outside the Trent Bridge Inn, just around the corner standing on Radcliffe Road, and then steadily make our way down Loughborough Road to The Wolds public house. The walk is a mile long and takes a little over an hour.

When you are ready, click the right arrow for the next stopping point. At each stop, the left arrow takes you back to the previous stopping point – except here where it takes you to the end of the walk.

For the next stop, just turn around and look at the Trent Bridge Inn.
